Me and Karl Lagerfeld – Badass (No. 1 in a series)

It’s been announced – next year Urbis willbe putting on a major hip-hop exhibition looking into how an underground phenomenon in a small area of New York has taken over the world.
In preparation I’m diving head first into the world of hip hop and finding out if I’m going to sink or swim. Any comments on the global scene and local peculiarities most welcomed.
Funnily enough this also coincides with a new series of posts I’m compiling entitled “Things I have in Common With Karl Lagerfeld” after his latest appearance in Harper’s Bazaar.
