It’s out. The first issue of the Urbis Research Forum Review is now available to download from the Urbis website. The Review is the online publication of the Urbis Research Forum and this first issue features articles by Julian Holloway and Maureen Ward. The articles are based on presentations given during the “Mancunian Way: The Alchemy of Concrete” panel discussion held on 26 August, 2009.

Wired covers Zaha Hadid’s incredible bespoke music hall which is to be built in Manchester Art Gallery’s temporary exhibition space as part of the International Festival. Good to see the UK getting a long overdue home version of this essential tech weekly and Manchester featuring in the first issue. Will be interesting to see how this powerhouse of the tech world copes in a world where print media is seriously suffering.
